Women In Leadership strives to empower women to be strong business leaders. Each quarter, we feature a woman who has made great accomplishments in her life, both business and personal.

Women In Leadership seeks to engage, foster, support, and advance female leaders who actively inspire other women. To hear firsthand the stories behind the success. To share personal and professional challenges, and forge the paths of leadership for other women to follow.

Women In Leadership holds four events a year and is open to business women (and men) from around the Valley.

Women in Leadership: “Women at War”

November 7, 2024. The luncheon spotlighted the personal journeys of four extraordinary women—Kassie Diaz, Winnie Fritz, Deborah Lehker, and Pat Little-Upah—who transitioned from distinguished military service to impactful careers in business and philanthropy.

Moderated by Stephanie Miller, the Chamber’s Director of Programs and Events and a U.S. Air Force veteran, the panel discussion highlighted the challenges of transitioning from military to civilian life and how their experiences have shaped their leadership journeys. The event fostered meaningful connections among attendees and underscored the Chamber's commitment to honoring and supporting military members while advancing professional development for women in Scottsdale.

Women in Leadership: Lissa Druss, Riot Hospitality Group

August 8, 2024. Women In Leadership was honored to host Lissa Druss, a renowned public affairs strategist and leader in the hospitality industry, as the keynote speaker. Lissa captivated the audience with her insights on leadership, emphasizing the unique contributions of women in the restaurant and hospitality industries. Drawing on her extensive experience with Riot Hospitality Group and her dedication to community initiatives, she inspired attendees to lead with authenticity and purpose.
